The main motto of Educational program of the Maharshi Dayanand Yogashram (MDY) is to promote Vedic Siksha by Starting Gurukul Education.
India has always boasted of a rich tradition in the area of learning and education since ancient times. One of the famous educational systems practiced in India in the ancient time was the Gurukul System. The main focus of Gurukuls was on imparting learning to the students in a natural surrounding where the shisyas (students) lived with each other with brotherhood, humanity , love, and discipline. The focus was also given on arts, sports, crafts, singing that developed their intelligence and critical thinking through the group discussions, and self-learning etc.
The Trust has introducing Vedic Shiksha for the students but it has also decided to organize its teaching for all, who are other than students to assist them for learning various aspects of lives to know their rights and to organize them to get within the resource s available our surrounding.
The Trust organize its education programs in two different types of activities as mentioned below :
The Maharashi Dayanad Yogashram has introduces its education program under the banner of Maharshi Dayanand Aarsh Gurukul in 2017. The Gurukul have a hostel for the students to facilitate them to start the dincharya from early morning and thereby learn as per schedules of Gurukul teaching and get added advantages towards adopting integrated approach for self-sustenance by staying away from home and parents guidance foe effective learning and their executions in practical of their own lives.
Maharshi Dayanand Yogashram (MDY) started its Gurukul teaching in September,2018 on trial basis with three girls and slowly it welcomed more girls to study in Gurukul. Considering the needs and involvements of students from morning to evening to continue their learning and practical, MDY has decided and constructed hostel accommodation for its students.
