HEALTH PROGRAMS
The main focus of the Health Programs of Maharshi Dayanand Yogashram are on extending its support services to have a strong and healthy society. To ensure this, the MDY has introduced its support and services for organizing health campus, yoga camps, and to take preventive measures to enable common people to keep a healthy community. It observed that , people are spending lots of money and uses their savings for treatments of their family members. It also noticed that, change of habits and adoption of preventive measure which ultimately helped to stop spending on health issues and save their savings.
MDY has decided to guide people to adopt Yoga for their good health and exercise on daily basis may able to develop their personality and help to stay away from all kinds of health disorders. Therefore MDY decided to arrange health awareness generation programs to educate the people of of North Tripura District. And introduce health initiatives in 3 major interventions.

HEALTH AWARNESS GENERATION :
It is noticed by MDY that, the people of the state are not aware of their health and its has also observed that, people are not thinking about health aspects of the members of their own family. Thus MDY decided to promote good health through practicing yoga by exercising on regular basis. It also decided to guide to come closer to nature and adopt of good and nutritious vegetable fruits to fulfill the needs of our body, our family members.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY :
As every year Jun 21st is celebrated as International Yoga Day, we also celebrate this day in our campus. MDY is organized yoga practices on regular basis . MDY is encouraging people to to understand the needs of practicing yoga and helps those are practicing yoga to become healthy and fit .
Even MDY arrange some health camp service for free health checkup and has distributed free medicines to the patients.
